Early check-in and/or access to the Retreat Spa before official check-in time is subject to availability and only offered on the day of your reservation. Alternatively, you can book a session at the Retreat Spa (available at an additional cost) which will enable you to use the spa—including a changing suite—for five hours before check-in. We will be happy to store your luggage during your time in the spa.

We offer a range of services and facilities for guests with special needs or disabilities. Our staff will provide support as needed, but please be aware of the following items:
We offer disabled parking in the Retreat parking lot. From there, the walk to the main complex takes approximately 2 minutes.
Guests arriving without a wheelchair can borrow one upon request.
The Retreat Lagoon, which surrounds the Retreat Spa, can be accessed directly with specially designed wheelchairs. The private lagoons at the Retreat Hotel's two Lagoon suites are not wheelchair accessible and require the aid of a personal assistant for accessibility.

With elevators and electric door openers, the hotel is wheelchair accessible.

A personal assistant
Guests requiring help in the changing rooms, the spa, the Retreat Lagoon, or the private lagoons at the Retreat Hotel will be provided a special assistant upon request. Please note: a request for an assistant should be made at least two days prior to arrival so that we have enough time to approve and fulfill the request.
Special wheelchair accessible changing rooms are available at the Retreat Spa. We ask our guests to exercise caution as floors in the changing rooms and around the lagoon may be slippery.
A shower chair is available upon request. We also have a wheelchair which can be used for entering the Retreat Lagoon. We ask our guests to exercise caution as the floors in the changing rooms and around the lagoon may be slippery.
The deepest part of the Retreat Lagoon is 1.25m/4.1ft, but most areas of the water are shallower. However, the bottom of the lagoon can be slippery, making caution an imperative. An overview map, displaying depths and temperatures, is displayed and summarized for all guests with disabilities prior to entering the lagoon.

Yes, access to the Blue Lagoon is included with your stay at the Retreat Hotel. You can freely enter the lagoon from the Retreat Spa. The only limitation is that you must use the lagoon during its normal hours of operation.
During your stay at the Retreat Hotel, you have unlimited access to the Retreat Spa, the Retreat Lagoon, and the Blue Lagoon. Kindly note, however, that access is limited to the regular opening hours of these entities.
Changes to cancellation policy due to COVID-19 between March 12 and June 20
In light of COVID-19, we have amended our booking policy. For new reservations booked between March 12 and June 20, please view our updated terms and conditions below.
For 1-3 rooms booked between March 12 and June 20, 2020
Cancel or modify your booking up to 48 hours prior to arrival without penalty.
For reservations of 4 rooms or more, group conditions apply. Please contact our sales department for more details.
All cancellations or changes must be communicated in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
i) Individual reservations
To avoid penalty, cancellations or changes must be made by 6:00 p.m., local time, 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations or changes received within 14 days of check-in are non-refundable. The same applies to no-shows.
No-shows will be charged to the client or credit card guaranteeing the reservation.
For bookings of 4 rooms or more, group conditions apply.
ii) Group reservations
To change or cancel a booking under these terms, the following restrictions regarding the notice period apply:

All cancellations should be made in writing to the Retreat reservation department with an email to the respective account manager or to email@example.com stating the booking number as reference. For bookings cancelled with less than the above mentioned notice, please note that the full price of the original booking will be charged.
