Getting to Blue Lagoon Iceland
Located in the heart of the Reykjanes UNESCO Geopark, Blue Lagoon is just 20 minutes from Keflavík Airport and 50 minutes from Reykjavík.
How to get here
We recently completed construction of a temporary gravel road segment near the turnoff to Blue Lagoon from Grindavíkurvegur road. This section will be paved in the future. Guests can access our site via this new road. Directions: Drive down the main highway, Reykjanesbraut (road no. 41), and make a turn onto Grindavíkurvegur (road no. 43). Next, take a turn at the Blue Lagoon sign onto Norðurljósavegur, which will guide you directly to our location. Please note that stopping on this new segment is not allowed for safety reasons and to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
