How to get here
Traveling to Blue Lagoon is easy. From the main highway that connects Keflavík and Reykjavík, turn at the sign marked "Blue Lagoon" and drive approx. 10 km/6,5 miles.
Yes, we have a big parking space in front of our facilities. Parking is free of charge.
Blue Lagoon offers safe luggage storage, where you can store your bags while bathing. The luggage storage service is located in the Service Center building, next to the parking area.
If you have a backpack or a light bag, you can fit that in the changing room locker.
The luggage storage has same opening hours as Blue Lagoon. There is a staff member that takes care of the luggage, you will be given a number for your luggage that you keep while you are in Blue Lagoon and you hand it back in when you pick up your luggage.
The luggage storage is especially convenient for guests visiting Blue Lagoon straight from the airport, either just after arriving in Iceland or before departing.
The price for each bag is ISK 550.
You can get to the Blue Lagoon by bus from the main bus terminal in Reykjavík. The bus terminal is located in walking distance from the harbor and it takes about 20 minutes to walk there.
You can also take a taxi right from the dock; they usually are waiting on the dock.
We recommend you also to check at information desk on the cruise ship if they know if there will be scheduled transfers by bus to Blue Lagoon.
