In general, entry to the Blue Lagoon is fully booked throughout the year. In order to reserve your desired date and time—and avoid the possibility that the lagoon will be sold out on the day you intend to visit—pre-booking is absolutely essential.

Amending a booking
If you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, a fee of ISK 1400 will apply for each change you make. Where changes involve moving from a higher priced ticket to a lower priced ticket, the difference will not be refunded. To amend a booking, please send us a request via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and reference your original booking confirmation number. You cannot change the date or time of a booking after the originally selected date/time has passed.
All cancellations must be presented to Blue Lagoon in written, via e-mail, to the address email@example.com. Blue Lagoon Iceland will always keep 10% of the total booking amount, regardless of the time of cancellation. Otherwise, cancellation charges are as follows (days of notice are based on date/time of arrival):
- If you cancel with more than 3 days notice: 90% is refunded
- If you cancel with 1-3 days (24-72 hours) notice: 50% is refunded
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice: No refund is made
