In general, entry to the Blue Lagoon is fully booked throughout the year. In order to reserve your desired date and time—and avoid the possibility that the lagoon will be sold out on the day you intend to visit—pre-booking is absolutely essential.

Amending a booking
To amend a booking, please send us a request via email at email@example.com and reference your original booking confirmation number. You cannot change the date or time of a booking after the originally selected date/time has passed.
All cancellations must be presented to Blue Lagoon in writing, via e-mail, to the address firstname.lastname@example.org. Blue Lagoon will always keep 10% of the total booking amount, regardless of the time of cancellation. Otherwise, cancellation charges are as follows (days of notice are based on date/time of arrival):
- If you cancel with more than 4 days’ notice: 90% is refunded
- If you cancel with 2-4 days’ (48-96 hours) notice: 50% is refunded
- If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice: No refund is made
To avoid disappointment and ensure that you get access to the spa at your desired date and time, pre-booking is absolutely essential. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance of your visit.
The minimum age for using the spa is 12 years old, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. This same restriction applies to the Retreat Lagoon and the Blue Lagoon Ritual. Please note that the entrance for children is not complimentary.
To have a treatment, guests must be at least 12 years old.

We understand that there could be many reasons why our guests are delayed or miss their pre-booked, 4-hour time slot. Our aim is to be flexible and accommodating. As such, if you are going to be delayed or need to cancel your booking, kindly inform us as as possible so that we can suggest an alternate time or date.
But keep in mind that we cannot guarantee entry for early or late arrivals as the spa is typically sold out. Therefore, we urge you to keep the time frame you've chosen.
