To indicate you wish not to be disturbed, press a button located by your room door. A light outside your room will turn red. Please remember to turn off the do not disturb light when you leave your room so we can tidy it for you.
In case of emergency, follow the escape route specified on the floor plan by your room door. Assemble at the parking lot in front of the hotel, unless instructed otherwise.
Your Retreat host is your guide and attendant. Whether managing your itinerary, confirming your tour bookings, or alerting you to the imminent arrival of the Northern Lights, your host is at your service.
If you wish to contact your host, please send a request or dial 99 on the room telephone.
Your room will be cleaned during the day. There is also a turndown refresh service in the evening. Please note that if “do not disturbed” is switched on, your room will not be serviced.
You will find an order form and garment bags in the wardrobe. To use the laundry service, please fill out the form, place your clothing in the garment bag, and call the reception for pickup. Your items will be returned to your suite when ready.
Same day laundry service is only available if requested before 10:00.
For dry cleaning, please contact the reception.
The reception is always happy to provide information about delivery and billing and answer any other questions you might have.
If you would like a Northern Lights wake-up call, please contact reception to make your request. If luck is on your side and you receive a call, we recommend that you head quickly to the terrace because the auroral displays are often brief. Likewise, please remember that the Northern Lights are only visible from late August to mid-April.
If you need to cancel your Northern Lights wake-up call, contact your host or the reception by dialing 99 on the hotel phone.
The Retreat is a non-smoking facility. However, there is a smoking area outside the library. Smoking in rooms will incur a penalty. Kindly note that this policy also applies to electronic cigarettes and vapes.

Help us conserve water and energy by using your towels more than once. Please hang up your towels if you wish to use them again. To request fresh towels, simply leave used ones on the floor.
