The chemical, physical, and biological conditions of geothermal seawater are continuously monitored. Taken bi-weekly, lagoon water samples are analyzed at an independent, officially authorized laboratory.
Measurements results
Affirmative testing outcomes enable Blue Lagoon to maintain its status as a recipient of the Blue Flag—a prestigious certification created by the Foundation for Environmental Education that attests the fidelity of a given body of water.
