You can request a breakfast box if you are unable to join us for breakfast at 7:30. Our breakfast box includes: 2 croissants or sandwiches; 1 juice; 1 whole fruit (apple or banana); 1 muffin or energy bar; 1 yoghurt; coffee and/or tea. We can also accommodate gluten free requirements.
To arrange for a breakfast box, please contact reception on the night before you will need the box.
Every guest receives a complimentary premium ticket to the Blue Lagoon for each booked room night. The ticket can be used anytime during your stay.
You will be given your ticket at check-in.
You may upgrade to the Retreat Spa—which includes access to the Blue Lagoon, the Blue Lagoon Ritual, and four hours in the spa’s subterranean luxuries. Please contact reception for pricing and availability.
We offer a range of services and facilities for guests with special needs or disabilities. Our staff will provide support as needed, but please be aware of the following items:
We offer disabled parking in the main parking lot. From there, the walk to the main entrance takes approximately half a minute.
With electric door openers and only one level, the hotel is wheelchair accessible. Guests arriving without a wheelchair can borrow one from reception.
Wheelchair accessible rooms
Rooms #1, #21, #22, and #23 have larger bathrooms and are classed as wheelchair friendly rooms. As room #1 is actually closest to reception, this is the room we reserve for guests with mobility difficulties.
In the hotel there is a separate, wheelchair accessible unisex changing room. A special changing room—large enough to be shared with an assistant—is available for guests requiring more space and more privacy.
Shower chairs are available upon request, we also have a wheelchair which can be used to go into the lagoon. We ask our guests to exercise caution as floors in the changing rooms and around the lagoon may be slippery.
The deepest part of the Blue Lagoon is 1.60m/5.2ft, but most areas of the water are far shallower. However, the bottom of the lagoon is naturally uneven, making caution an imperative.
Treatments & massage
Guests with disabilities have full access to the treatments & massage area and can experience a massage while floating in Silica’s private Lagoon.

Each room can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults, 1 child (3-12 years old), and one infant (0-2 years old). The additional cost for children is ISK 15,000. There is no charge for infants and we provide a baby cot.
Your credit card information is taken as a guarantee for your room. Your card can be charged for your booking anytime within 14 days of your arrival, as outlined in our cancellation policy.
Yes, complimentary transfers within Blue Lagoon Iceland are available upon request.
You are welcome to have breakfast at the hotel, but there is a charge of ISK 3,500 per person.
