Float Therapy and Unnur Valdís
Relaxing. Meditative. Transformative. The hypnotic interplay of water, weightlessness, and light massage soothes the body, calms the mind, and elevates the spirit—alleviating stress, relieving pain, and catalyzing inner peace.
Float Therapy is the brainchild of Unnur Valdís, an Icelandic product designer who conceived of this sublime treatment in 2012. Designing floatation gear and developing the training methods and experiential framework for Float Therapy, Unnur established Flothetta—a company dedicated to exploring the restorative benefits galvanized by the combination of water, weightlessness, and gentle massage.
Sound Healing with Saraswati Om
Saraswati Om uses sound bath instruments—gongs, crystal lyres, copper harps, crystal alchemy bowls—to create the frequencies of aural healing, triggering meditative brainwaves that escort the mind, body, and spirit to a place of deep relaxation and profound wellbeing.
Originally from Syracuse, New York, Saraswati Om opened the first yoga and sound healing center in her region. She held the space successfully for 17 years, training yoga teachers as well as sound healers from all over the world. She also completed over 1000 hours of training and study of the complete Yogic Vedic Sciences including Ayurveda and Nada Yoga—"The Yoga of Sound." With a particular expertise in Nada Yoga, Saraswati leads sold-out Sound Journeys in the U.S. and in Iceland, where she has lived since 2020. Over the last decade, Saraswati has trained and collaborated with sound healing pioneers including Shyam Das, Bhagavan Das, Gong Master Don Conreaux, and Ayi and Michael Mayzel. She has been a Crystal Tones distributor and Bowl Master since 2012.
