Blue Lagoon Iceland temporarily closed

In an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 in Iceland, the government has placed restrictions on mass gatherings. Due to these restrictions all operations at Blue Lagoon Iceland Iceland will be closed until 2 November 2020. Blue Lagoon shop at Laugavegur 15 will however remain open.

On March 13, the Icelandic government issued provisional restrictions on mass gatherings. These rules are effective March 16 and will last four weeks.
