Plácido Domingo visits BLUE LAGOON - Geothermal Spa

One of the world’s most respected tenor, Plácido Domingo, visited BLUE LAGOON – Geothermal Spa before he left the country, after giving an excellent performance in Iceland.
Domingo, who was accompanied by his wife and singer Ana Maria Martinez, visited BLUE LAGOON – Geothermal Spa with president of Iceland, Mr. Olafur Ragnar Grimsson and his wife, Dorrit Moussaieff. Domingo started the visit by walking through Gjáin (the Rift), which is a dramatic exhibition of Icelandic geology. Then he visited BLUE LAGOON – Geothermal Spa where Grimur Saemundsen, general manager, gave a tour of the company and informed the guests about the company's operation. Before leaving the geothermal spa, the gests were invited for lunch at the BLUE LAGOON ICELAND restaurant.
