Cultural award for BLUE LAGOON - Medical Center
VA Arkitektar received DV Cultural Award for the designing of BLUE LAGOON -Medical Center. VA Arkitektar received the same award in 1999 for the designing of BLUE LAGOON - Geothermal Spa.

Sigriður Sigþórsdóttir, chief designer of the Medical Center and Geothermal Spa, accepted the award and expressed her gratitude: "I proudly accept this award on behalf of VA Arkitektar. The award is a result of a great ambition and cooperation between all of those involved in the project. It is important for all designers to be able to work in a team where the main goal is finding new ways to enhance creativity," said Sigþórsdóttir after receiving the award.
