New Blue Lagoon shop at Keflavík International Airport

Blue Lagoon has opened a new shop at Keflavík International Airport. The shop offers a selection of Blue Lagoon skin care products and energizing spa treatments, available at the shop’s spa area. Spa service is now available at many international airports and the service becomes increasingly popular. This is the first time that spa service is available at Keflavík International Airport.

Energy treatments for hands and feet are available in the shop’s apa area. The treatments are based on Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater and skin care. They cleanse and nourish the skin and provide relaxation and wellness.

Anna G.Sverrisdóttir, Blue Lagoon’s managing director., says the opening is an important step for the company. “In our operation we emphasise constant development. The shop and spa at the airport is a service we are especially pleased to be able to provide both Icelandic and international travellers.”

The shop is designed by Design Group Italia in Milan. The design represents a strong connection to the Blue Lagoon’s natural environment. Lava wall is prominent and white and blue colors represent the clean energy of Icelandic nature. Transparent walls with water running through is a subtle reminder of Blue Lagoon.
