The Cycling Club of Reykjavik - Iceland  presents: The Blue Lagoon challenge - Mountain bike race

From Hafnafjordur (Reykjavik area) to The Blue Lagoon
Two distances: 60 km and 40 km

Registration and number distribution
Sport hall - Strandgata - Hafnafjordur. June 10th from 8:00 to 9:30.

Registration fee 1500 ÍKR until June 7th at midnight.
From June 7th and on day race registration fee will be 2500 ÍKR.
Includes an entrance to the Blue Lagoon after the race and refreshments.

Categories
60 km Men and Women: Age groups15-16, 17-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40+.
40 km Men and Women: Open
Teams, 60 km
Teams of 3 up to 5 people can register. Team time will be calculated on the three fastest time
Required that at least three per team complete the course
All combinations are allowed, all ages and sexes welcome, i.e. Families,
companies, friends…

Rewards
Rewards for 1rst, 2nd and 3rd place in each category for both distances.

Transport back to the departure area
Bikes: by truck at no extra cost.
Riders: By scheduled bus at extra cost 1000kr. (payable in the bus).

Miscellaneous
The race is opened to everyone 15 years old and older.
Use of helmets is mandatory. Riders compete in the race under their own responsibility.
The road will not be private and will be opened to traffic. Riders are requested to follow the Highway Code.
 The finish line will close at 15:45
