World Psoriasis Day at the Blue Lagoon - Clinic

Blue Lagoon – Psoriasis clinic will be open to guests Saturday October 27th

The fourth-annual World Psoriasis Day will be celebrated around the world October 29th  this is a global event dedicated to people with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis. The aim of this event is to raise awareness, improve access to treatment, and to build unity among the psoriasis community.

125 million people all over the world suffer from psoriasis, equivalent to about 3% of the world population.

10:00 – 15:00 - The Blue Lagoon - Clinic is open to guests and free entrance to the clinic’s reserved lagoon.

11:00 – 13:00 – Esther Hjálmarsdóttir , nurse will present recent and future studies about the Blue Lagoon psoriasis treatment.

Ulla Uhrskov, Clinic reception manager and nutritionist, will demonstrate how people can improve their life by consuming a healthy diet.

Light refreshments will be offered.
