Blue Lagoon Iceland Airwaves music and wellness event will take place from 13.00 – 15.00 on Saturday, October 18. DJ Margeir will play lounge music inspired by the Blue Lagoon.

Margeir has regularly played for Iceland Airwaves guests at the Blue Lagoon during the 10 years this unique event has taken place.  In 2006 Margeir launched his Blue Lagoon soundtrack. „When selecting music for the compilation, I attempted to capture the Blue Lagoon‘s natural mystique which represents a special relationship between nature and science,“  Margeir says. He is currently working on volume 2 of the Blue Lagoon soundtrack to be realeased early 2009. The first edition received outstanding reviews from local and international critics. Margeir will play at the Blue Lagoon from 13.00 – 15. 00 on Saturday, Octber 18.

Reykjavík Excursions www.re.is offers a special tour designed for Iceland Airwaves guests and those who want to enjoy relaxing in the Blue Lagoon while listening to Iceland Airwaves music. Departure from BSÍ bus terminal at 12.30. This is a non-guided tour. Pick-up at hotels and guesthouses 30 minutes before departure. Return buses will depart from the Blue Lagoon at 15:30.
