Midsummer night walk to mountain Thorbjorn
Blue Lagoon and nearby town, Grindavík, will offer a Midsummer Night walk to mountain Thorbjorn on June 21st.
The walk on mountain Thorbjörn will begin at 20.30. The walk begins by Grindavík swimming pool and it is estimated that it will take three hours. When participants reach the top one of Iceland’s most prominent entertainers, Ingó, will perform with guitar playing and song by a camp fire. The walk ends by the Blue Lagoon, which will stay open until 1am. Ingó will continue with live music while participants bathe in the lagoon.
No participation fee is for the walk but participants pay entrance to the Blue Lagoon.
A bus from Reykjavík Excursions will leave from Reykjavik’s main bus station (BSI) at 19.30 and return from Blue Lagoon at 01.00.
