Why are Blue Lagoon products so good for my skin?
Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater contains essential salts and minerals for the skin along with a unique algae rich in vitamins (D and E), polysaccharides and essential fatty acids that help the skin to protect and strenghten itself in a natural way.
My skin is extremely dry during the winter and my hands and feet get very sore. What Blue Lagoon products can you recommend?
We have two types of creams that we can recommend: Blue Lagoon mineral intensive cream for very dry skin (fragrance free), available in 200ml tubes and the icelandic formula quick repair, available in 50ml, specially recommended for extreme environmental conditions.
What is the main difference between Blue Lagoon mineral moisturizing cream and the mineral intensive cream?
The mineral moisturizing cream is for normal to dry skin while the mineral intensive cream, which is richer in oil, is specially formulated for dry and very dry skin, eczema and psoriasis.
What is it that makes the silica purifying shampoo so good for dandruff and other scalp ailments?
The silica purifying shampoo contains the unique Blue Lagoon ingredients to nourish, moisturize and soothe the sensitive scalp and the active ingredient piroctone olamine which effectively combat dandruff.
My teenage son has acne. Do you have any products for him?
Yes we recommend the following products: silica mud mask, silica derm bar and icelandic formula vitalizer. Method: Apply the silica mud on the acne area and leave it on for 5 - 10 minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm water. Repeat 3 -5 times a week. Every morning and evening use the silica derm bar to cleanse the acne area and apply the balance cream (light) after cleansing.

Are Blue Lagoon products tested on animals?
Blue Lagoon does not test the products on animals or have animal testing conducted on its behalf by anyone else. The products are dermatologically tested on human volunteers and by special state-of-the-art testing methods at our laboratories.
Is it safe to use my credit card when shopping?

Do you accept international orders?
Yes, Blue Lagoon accepts international orders and has many loyal customers all around the world. Please be advised that VAT and other taxes each country may have are not included in our prices.
How long will it take to receive my order?
Most Internet orders are processed within 24 hours of receipt. (Weekend days and major holidays are not included in the processing time). Orders are processed and shipped on business days only. All orders are sent via priority shipping by DHL and the delivery takes 2-5 business days from Iceland. We are sorry, but shipments to all APO/FPO US military addresses and P.O. boxes are not available by DHL priority shipping.
Why is my favourite product discontinued?
We are sorry if a decision has been made to discontinue your favourite product. Please notice that such decisions are not made impulsively. They are made in response to consumer preferences and we take into account many important factors such as purchasing patterns, size of product, price etc.
