The Blue Lagoon psoriasis treatment is a unique, natural treatment for psoriasis, without side effects. The treatment has been offered for many years, giving hundreds of patients from around the world relief from psoriasis. The Blue Lagoon psoriasis treatment is based on bathing in the mineral rich Blue Lagoon geothermal seawater, applying Blue Lagoon skin care products, specially developed for the treatment of psoriasis, and UV light therapy. The Clinic's dermatologist regularly examines treatment guests and evaluates results. Nurses provide daily care and guidance and monitor the process.

A two to four week therapy is recommended but patients are welcome to stay for longer or shorter periods. The first sign of healing is the disappearance of scales on the skin. This normally occurs within one week of treatment. View before and after photos after 4 weeks of treatment.

Leisure activities

A variety of leisure activities are available to guests at the Clinic. Guests have access to a fitness room on site and several walking routes are in the nearby area. It is possible to borrow walking sticks or bicycles at the Clinic and enjoy the surroundings on your own. TV, VCR and a computer with Internet access is offered in the living room area. Television and Internet access is also available in each room.

We encourage guests to bring some reading material, a laptop or other things to use during their free time. We also advise guests to bring warm clothes and good shoes for outdoor activities.

Spa treatments and massage are available at the Blue Lagoon (5min walking distance). Treatment guests receive 20% discount on spa treatments and massage.
