What I would like to convey to you is that the one little oasis .the few incredibly, relaxing and remarkably healing moments I have had during a very difficult time in my life -- were at the spa at the Blue Lagoon. This is a place I try to visit mentally as I deal with the current pressures in my life.because it does seem like a dream.
I have been to spas all over the world, but the spa at the Blue Lagoon and Carla, who provided my spa treatment, are both truly remarkable. The environment provides the opportunity for truly unique spa experiences - and I think you have excelled at capturing all there is to offer. In addition to that, the professionalism and skill of Carla as a therapist, was absolutely outstanding.
I do hope that this e-mail does express truly how I feel about my experience at the Blue Lagoon spa. My friends and family have heard me sing your praises to the point they are tiring of me --- so I hope my feedback is welcome.

During a visit to Reykjavik last month I spent an afternoon at the Blue Lagoon, not knowing in advance about the purported therapeutic benefits of it.
Having spent the last 2.5 years battling chronic allergic dermatitis (eczema), I was astounded when just a couple of days after my visit the eczema was gone entirely! I had spent many hundreds of dollars on traditional medicine (cortisone-based creams, oral allergy prescriptions) and lots of additional money on alternative therapies (Oregon grape root, various herbal supplements, vitamins) but nothing worked -- I was in significant discomfort virtually every day over that 2.5 - year period.
Anyway, the eczema has not returned -- thankfully -- and I will be forever grateful for what, by all appearances, was a miraculous cure!
Sincerely,

Hello
I went to the Blue Lagoon on August 10. I just wanted to say thank you for a fabulous time. Your staff was amazing! I was moving from England to the US so I had 3 large suitcases that they helped me bring into the building and store in a safe place. Everyone was more than helpful.
Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

While visiting Iceland recently, I enjoyed the Blue Lagoon, on March 18 and 20. It was wonderful. The water, "mud" and the atmosphere are exceptional. So relaxing and rejuvenating. I hope I will be able to return, and soon. Blue Lagoon was a highlight of my visit.

My wife and I visited the Blue Lagoon on the 30th of March 04 for our 30th Wedding anniversary. We booked it through Thomas Cook in Edinburgh. We arrived around 7pm after a wonderful trip up there from Reykjavik in a minibus with the friendliest and funniest tour guide known as "Stephan The Tour Guide"!!. Upon arrival, Stephan tried to explain how to use the computerized wrist bands and locker system, however, all the men in the locker room (myself included) were trying to look as if they knew how to operate it but really none of us had a clue!!. Eventually someone figured it out and we all followed like sheep. Once you have showered you venture out into the lagoon. It was nearly dark, freezing cold and raining but this made the atmosphere and experience even better, it was simply unbelievable!!.
I had a very sore face, full of "zits" which had accumulated over the previous three days of drinking the most expensive beer on the planet. After a few minutes in the lagoon I could honestly feel the effect of the minerals on my skin. The next day my skin was as smooth as a baby's bum!! No kidding!!
If anyone is thinking about going to visit the blue lagoon, don't think.. go!
Our only regret was that we didn't spend long enough there, (two hours). Since it was our 30th wedding anniversary we were planning to have a meal after our dip in the lagoon but we enjoyed it so much we only had time for a hot dog before being called back to the bus. However, we made up for it with a fantastic meal at the Pearl restaurant the following evening. My wife and I have done lots of travelling world wide and this experience is going to be etched on our memory for a long time.

I had the most unique experience visiting the Blue Lagoon. I was visiting Iceland March 9 - 12, 2004 and one of our stops was a visit to the Blue Lagoon on Thursday, March 11th.
First I was amazed at the black walls of lava on either side of the entrance. It looked so surreal. You had the sense of being somewhere unearthly.
Unfortunately, it was cold and windy so getting a message was out of the question. I made the dash from the building to the water and the first dip was amazing. The air around you is so cold but, once in the waters you are warn even hot.
I sat there in the water letting myself relax and enjoying the uniqueness of the warm waters. I didn't want to leave.
I left there feeling totally refreshed both mind and body. The place transforms you to another place. You don't think of the world outside you are just fully absorbed in the what is around you.
I will definitely go back to Iceland to enjoy the Blue Lagoon.

I was just recently in Iceland and had the opportunity to see and go into the Blue Lagoon. It was the best experience I have ever had. It is one I will never forget, and when I left to come home, that was the one thing I was sad to leave behind. The day I was there the water was a blue fluorescent bubbly warm water, (some spots hot), and while we were in the water it was really snowing. I can't think of anything like it in the United States.

Want to say how much we both enjoyed our visit to the ultimate wonder of Blue Lagoon recently! We ended up so relaxed for a week when we flew back home the next day! Imagine what it's like trying to go back to work!
Many many thank you for a out of the world experience!
Kind Regards,

I had a business trip visiting both India and Iceland before returning to USA. When I checked my bag in India, my coat was inside since I did not want to carry it in the heat there. When I arrived in Iceland, my suitcase did not arrive. While waiting for the airline to find my baggage, it was suggested that I warm up in the waters of the Blue Lagoon. So I took a bus there.
I could not believe how beautiful a site with milky aqua water surrounded by rough lava rocks that were made smooth beneath the water's surface by the coating with silica from the geothermic water. I stayed in the water for a few hours. This ethereal experience gave me more than warmth and relaxation in the sight of such beautiful comforting surroundings.
I have very dry rough elbows. I had rubbed the silica from the buckets on my elbows thinking that a film of silica might smooth my elbows as it had smoothed the rough rocks. When I got out of the water and showered, rather than a coating on the elbow, my dry dead skin had softened and defoliated and my elbows were as smooth as the skin on a baby's face! I was stunned and could not believe the tranformation in so few hours. I now keep them smooth like this with the Blue Lagoon Silica mud and Intensive cream!

I had the good luck to be in the area of the Blue Lagoon for 3 days in early March of this year....The weather was ghastly, but the Blue Lagoon was like being in a warm, southern part of the world...Imagine, in Iceland, a tropical paradise in the wilds of lava-covered mountains and flats....What a treat for a travel-worn body, seeking the revitalizing goodness from the internal waters of the Earth...I had the pleasure of three in-water massages, like no other I have ever received...The warmth of the waters, and the skill of the masseuses made for three heavenly, health-restoring sessions..
I brought one of each of your Blue Lagoon products home with me and use them constantly to remedy the cold/dry air of a Maine Winter...I long for the Blue Lagoon and hope to return some wonderful day...Thank you for this chance to tell you of my enjoyment...
Sincerely,
Helen "Puff" Uhlman
Our family of four, my husband Kevin, myself, and teenage sons James and Sean, had the pleasure of going to the Blue Lagoon several years ago. Although we only had a one-night stopover in Iceland on our way back from a visit to England and Scotland, we knew just how we wanted to spend our time. We had seen stories about the Blue Lagoon on television, and, after visiting the Blue Lagoon website to check it out, we knew that's where we wanted to go.
It was a late afternoon when we arrived. After a trip through the changing/shower rooms, I joined my guys on the other side and we quickly (it was cold outside) entered the beautiful warm waters. It felt absolutely wonderful, and to make it an even more amazing experience, a fog descended on the Lagoon and you could only see several feet ahead of you. It was magical! As I looked at my boys, I could see tiny crystals on their eyelashes, but they assured me they felt warm as could be! It was only because closing time came about that we forced ourselves to leave this luxurious warm water. We wandered through the Blue Lagoon Shop and brought several products to try at home.
Having had such a wonderful experience at the Blue Lagoon, we discussed getting a spa for our back porch on the flight back home to New York. We finally purchased one last summer, and we just love it. What makes it even better is that, after relaxing in our own hot tub, we can continue to use the wonderful Blue Lagoon products that we now purchase on-line. The intensive cream works wonders on dry skin, and we love the shampoos and body scrubs. The new line of facial products has been a great addition; we were most impressed after using them this past winter, which was particularly harsh and cold for New York. When I order from the Blue Lagoon website, I usually have my order within three days!
We look forward to making a return visit to the Blue Lagoon someday, but for now we have our wonderful memories of our brief time there, which we often talk about while soaking in our own spa. Visiting the Blue Lagoon was a unique and wonderful family experience that we will always remember!

During the day I am the manger of a medical engineering group. In this position I meet with many customers. It is embarrassing to have to shake hands with a customer especially if my hands are dry and chapped.
When I go home, nearly every night, I have to work on a car or do creative wood working. This makes my hands even rougher. I would go to hold hands with my wife she said more than once "dear your hands are very rough uck".
I tried a number of hand creams thinking I can by the ones at the local pharmacy and they should do the trick. These always lasted a very little while and immediately washed off so that my hands where dry again and continued with the roughness, redness, etc.
I mentioned this to a women here at work who let me try Blue Lagoon. I was skeptical at first. The hand cream turned out to be fantastic. What I like about Blue Lagoon hand cream is if you put it on before you go to bed it will last through a shower the next morning so that your hands continue to be soft and not chapped that entire day. Now when I go to shake hands with a customer or my wife I am not embarrassed. Thank-you Blue Lagoon for a wonderful product.
