How to get to Iceland

Iceland is a European island country located in the North Atlantic Ocean. It takes appr. 6 hrs to fly to Iceland from New York and 3 hrs from London. Two Icelandic airlines operate flights to and from the country:

Iceland is also accessible by ferry from Europe. Many visitors also come to Iceland on cruise ships.

Once in Iceland

The Blue Lagoon is located only a 20 minute drive from Keflavík International Airport and 40 minutes drive from Reykjavik city center.

You have the option to take one of the scheduled bus tours to the Blue Lagoon, either from Reykjavik city center or Keflavík International Airport. There are even bus tours that will take you from Reykjavik to Keflavik Airport with a stop in the Blue Lagoon and vice versa. Find out more here.

If you have a rental car you can also drive on your own and enjoy the nature along the way.
